fyi product photos also say it works with playstation 4, but maybe doesn't do the 7.1?

Finicky at best. It worked on the PS5 once. Everytime I've tried after that it wouldn't work. Ended up shelling out for a hyper x ps5 headset. Also the corsair is really heavy on your head feels like putting a 5lb weight on your head.

if you have a big head (size 7 1/2 range) or you like d cup head phones, they are great. Very comfortable for long term use. I've been using them daily for like 5 years without issue

Is it true 7.1 surround sound or virtual?

I just bought the Razer combo pack (headset, mouse, mousepad and keyboard) for $40. I really just needed the headset. I wonder if this Corsair is better than the Razer headset.

I had that too at first. It appears you have to be really close to the dongle and no less than 50% on the battery.

They're tricky about it--at least on mobile. On the screen where you add your address, there's a grey bar for "Show Order Summary" tap the down arrow on the right, and you can enter VOID there. Be sure to do it before you put in your address information because entering it causes it to wipe everything else on the page.

I had a pair of these for almost 4 years before the battery died and wouldn't accept a charge anymore. I bought a replacement battery on Ebay, and followed some instructions on Youtube on how to replace it. Pretty easy. Love these!

I'm not an audiophile, but the audio quality is good enough for me. I use these 99% of the time for conference calls via Zoom. My audio is always clear. No one ever complains that I'm muffled or my audio is garbled. I love the flip (the microphone) to mute, and listening to others is always very clear, unless they're having issues on their side.

I'm buying a replacement for that inevitable time when something else dies/brakes/etc. so I have a spare for work.
