    Obviously this one is better than the s7+ if you only care about the vacuum and not so much the mop feature, right?

    This is not a good price. I have the s4 max and I'm in the market for a new one for another floor in my house.

    Q is their mid price model. S is their high price model. You can get a s7+ for this price on sale. To my understanding the difference between these two is the s7 can lift up its mop when it goes over carpet. Where as the q7 can't. So with the q7 you have to setup separate maps

    If you only care about the vacuum feature this is the one to get. There are 3 big differences between the S7+ and Q7Max+, dust storage size, vacuum power, and mopping. The Q7Max+ has stronger suction and a larger dustbin allowing you to wait longer before you change it out, but lacks the lifting/dropping of the mop. I have the Q7Max+ and you have to manually put the mop on and set zones to not mop. Fortunately I only care about the vacuum because I have 2 cats and they tend to leave litter trails.
