If you golf at all, get some soft spike shoes. Otherwise, regular sneakers.

I hear you but they are AMAZINGLY comfortable. Played Pebble recently and used screw in spikes to help in the wet grass. Still so comfortable. Also, in 2023 you'll need to tweak that handle to Rory4LIV 🤣

I don't find spikeless shoes to have a short lifespan. I use em for caddying and playing and they last a very long time since they spend very little time on actual pavement to wear out the soles. If you play casual flat courses for the most part these are fine. Hilly and wet does not bode well for spikeless.
Just getting into golf. Wonder if these are useful.

I'm short yes they're basically trail shoes but marketed as golf shoes; shallow lugs meant to keep you from not slipping on Dewey grass and such. It really depends on the types of courses you play on whether or not spineless would work.
Me personally, I've worn spikeless for about 4 years now in all types of conditions and have been fine. Ironically I just got another pair of spiked shoes and feel like they're actually overkill now (I work for Nike and get a great discount, and am in need of a really good waterproof shoe).
