Plenty of well made knives out there with better steel and better handle material.
Being the decibel is made in China try Sanremnu/ Ganzo/Adimanti/Free Tiger/Petrified Fish/Schrade/firebird.
I need specifics if you want something.

I'm very familiar with knives and I have anything from ganzo to kershaw to few others but when you say that statement above back it up with a replacement option instead of just bashing on that....
Also D2 is no where as easily to sharpen and rusts easily if you don't take care of it.

I live less than 10 miles from the ocean and I have never had any of my D2 knives rust, at all.
Proper maintenance is key.
D2 isn't that bad to sharpen/ maintain a working edge.
Now if we're talking CPM-M4 and CPM-S110V steel then yeah they are a bit of a pain in the butt to sharpen but not impossible.
Don't see why you think I'm bashing you by asking questions.
So here's some backup:

Here's a steel body, better steel.

Some 440C knives ( same as 8cr13mov)

I never said or assumed you were bashing me. But those are some very nice alternatives.
