We have 3 of these, along with 3 very expensive Diono Radian 3RXT car seats.
So I'll compare them with seats that cost twice the price:
Pros:
-Very light, we took 3 of these on airplane as checked baggage so we didn't have to rent car seats on a trip
-Easy to install, the opening is generous
-Easy to adjust height
-Straps don't tangle
-Mediocre buckle, easy to buckle but hard for my daughter to unbuckle herself (particularly the bottom)
-These can convert to bottom-only boosters
Cons:
-Rattles
-Not 3 across, but not super wide either. If they had made these like 1 inch narrower they would be 3 across seats
-Hard for my 6 year old to undo the bottom buckle herself (a lot of pressure)
-Not as comfortable (my perception -- no complaints from the kids)
Overall, I have love/hate relationship with both sets of seats. I like the Diono seats overall more, other than when we have to transfer them between vehicles. They are a pain to install / uninstall. Then I like the Graco seats more.
But for the money the Graco seats are very nice and overall the best seats I've used for the dollar (I have kids aged 5, 4, 4).
