Slickest deal on Nintendo eshop cards is to join GameStop Pro ($14.99). They will give you $10 worth of credit, use that on a $20 eshop card ($10 spent, 50% off), then use the monthly reward ($5) each month towards a $10 gift card (again 50% off). That's $75/year for $140 worth of Nintendo eshop credit, or 46% off.

Have you actually used your Pro membership to do this? The FAQ makes it sound like you can't use rewards for 3rd party gift cards.

"What can I use the $5 Monthly Reward on?
These coupons can be used on most physical and digital games (new and pre-owned), accessories, collectibles, hardware, select digital gaming currency cards, and almost everything else GameStop sells. These coupons cannot stack with most other promotions and exclusions apply. The coupon cannot be used on GameStop gift cards, 3rd party gift cards, select downloadable content like in-game credits, a Pro membership, or reservations. The discount will automatically apply to the most expensive eligible item in your order."

Why $10? I did a free $5 each month instead. Just make sure you do digital and not physical.

Just using it as an example. You can apply it how you like. That's the beauty.
