    Not sure if you are joking but no, you can't. Many have tried and failed; the missing connection will cause the hex bar to have no structure and will flex with barely any weight on it.

    Yes If you like farmer carries, lunges, etc. It opens up the versatility of what a trap bar can do. HOWEVER, do not cut a standard hex bar to make it an open one, it will twist.

    This has been $70 for a while. I ordered it for that months ago. Still a great deal, just not the typical "wow this price dropped a ton" slickdeal.

    It's pretty nice. Shipment "packaging" is comically poor, which resulted in marks in the paint. I'm not bothered, especially considering the use case (this is a tool; it doesn't need to look pretty).

    for sure you can do farmer carries with this bar, but it'll definitely depend on the size of the person doing it! I'm 5'8" and have no issues.

    Lunges would be tricky with a trap bar, even an open one, I'd imagine. But farmers carries should be no problem with a standard trap/hex bar.
