I don't remember how much I paid for these a while back, but I can attest to how good the product is. Awesome for camping. Too heavy for backpacking. Great for a car emergency light, since you can stick it under the hood of your vehicle or anywhere else with the magnets. Have also used it during a prolonged power outage in my home. The only complaint I have is the proprietary cable they use, only works with goal zero power supplies.

They include a 6mm to 12V adapter now in the box so you can use the lantern with any 12V output
When they first came out, they didn't include the adapter

Too bad they didn't just switch to USB. 🤷

Just a point of clarification because some people assume a compact LED will accept disposable or rechargable batteries: this light will not power itself. It requires an external 12 volt power supply.

GZ discontinued a USB to 6mm adaptor. I've been looking high and low for one, with no luck. Not sure why but I'm guessing USB-A could not supply enough power for multiple lights that were strung together.

This deal is a very good price though, even though it is still overpriced. I definitely recommend getting the 6mm extension cord to make installation more flexible.

As stated by another poster, there were technical issues with using USB, as not enough voltage could be maintained for chaining

Well if we are lucky they will switch to USB-C in the next iteration, which has more than enough capability of pushing that kind of voltage.

Random companies make female 12V to male USB-C cables
Could give it a shot, and see what the results are.
