You should only consider nonstick for certain situations... Eggs, fish, other delicates. It's arguable you don't even need it for those circumstances either. You should limit your exposure to PFOA etc. as much as possible.
Also I love how a staff post automatically has a shit ton of thumbs ups. Man I'm really considering leaving SlickDeals with all these ridiculous shill postings. No shame.

I thought Select was the cheapest line
This is not their cheapest line. 'Simply Calphalon' is their lowest tier Level Option.

Personally I find benefit in non-stick when cooking most things when limiting fats. I avoid it for high heat uses that would damage it, like searing.

Sure there's ease of use benefits but you have to weigh that against risks of contaminating your food with substances that will stay in your body for your entire life. You have no idea what the long term effects will be for you and your family. Use avocado oil or similar "healthier" fats if worried about health from the fats themselves. Don't gamble with manmade substances that have historically caused horrible long term health issues. If you don't like reading research, and need a little more sensationalism, watch the movie Dark Waters from 2019 starring Mark Ruffalo.
