This guitar sounds incredible unplugged. It sounds as good as guitars double the price. It sounded much better to my ears than the $900 Taylor 114ce I compared it against in the store. The arched back really brings out the low end. The pickups sound terrible, though, but that's pretty standard with pickups of this type.

How does this compare to the Alvarez AG610 that was recently posted? I picked that one up but still open to a better option in the price range. Looking for something that sounds great unplugged with a cutaway

Having never played either I would put my money on the Alvarez. It has been my experience that they are very consistent guitars and great value for the money.
