For me, the lack of an alert slider makes this a hard pass.

OnePlus (2017): Never Settle
OnePlus (2022): Settled

Why so? I'm out on OnePlus myself, but how bad my Pixel 6 is I'm exploring my options

I am in the same boat as yours . Had a Pixel sold it off. Had too many issues with it. Look into Asus Zenfone 9. Still using my 7T for now until it ships

Seems like a considerable number of those issues were rectified with the last update. I just purchased the 6 Pro (will be delivered today) because I got sick and tired of all the other cameras that just weren't up to the quality of the Pixel line. At the end of the day, for me, the camera matters more than anything. But it seems the fingerprint, heat, etc. issues are largely overcome now with the most recent update.

Are you speaking from experience? Because I am and I'm on the newest update.

I had issues with all the Pixels from 1-3 so I switched to Samsung S10. Been on Samsung ever since and no major issues, stark contrast from Pixels.

Had a OnePlus One daily that had touch screen issues.

Really like my Oneplus 6T. Upgraded to a 7 pro. Great phone. Even then went to a Oneplus 8. Solid. But the price of the phones kept going up and up that I finally just switched to a S21 Ultra and haven't looked back. The value proposition of Oneplus died off a long time ago.

Honestly, just don't see much worth in the Oneplus brand anymore. The only Oneplus device I liked was the Nord N10 5G.

So in summary, great phones but got too expensive. So you bought something even more expensive.

Nope. Bought S21 Ultra 256 for $940.74, unlocked without trade November 2021 which was either same price or cheaper than the Oneplus 9 Pro at the time. Better phone, better camera, better support.

Even After multiple updates, It was not working for me. The phone randomly heated up. I had network connectivity issues even at my home. All I got was 2 hours SOT. So had to get rid of it. Camera wise its the best out there. Performance wise ( at-least for me it was the worst)
