I actually really like my 30° gun (Max brand) but the lack of nail selection means it can't be my only framer.
At first I thought this was the NR90 and I was going to buy a couple for backups.

In the Midwest all we use are 30 degree clipped head framers. I can't say that I'm familiar with what regions outside of hurricane prone areas require full head nails, but not required by code in Nebraska and Iowa. Different sizes and styles of 30 degree nails are abundant for me.
You'll want a siding coil nail gun for attaching fence pickets. Use exterior galvanized ring shank full head siding nails.

It might be limited in some areas. Near me there's always plenty available at HD or Lowes (Paslode mostly uses these in their cordless framing nailers as well) Most are offset head and the reason why I like this nailer over 21 besides more nails per length is that it doesn't shoot plastic shrapnel everywhere like 21 do, at this point I would pick wire welded over plastic. Some complain about when paper gets wet nail fall apart but I usually keep them either in ammo box or plastic with seal and haven't had any issues.
Don't like smooth ones since feel like they hold less than ring shank (they say tests prove otherwise) but I don't care since I feel the difference between pulling ring shank and smooth out. My uncle got this one and after using it for little bit i found it to be ok but more bulky than my Dewalt one especially the wide cap that sometimes gets in the way of using it in smaller spaces.
P.S. By going through HD clearances I collected at least few boxes of galvanized ring shanks and most recently got stainless steel ones but even on clearance they were MUCH more @$50 per 1K of 3" ring shank ones (looks like best option for exterior cedar wood projects though)
If someone can share where to get good quality of refurbished Makita tools.. it would be great.
