I have two of the G1 versions and two of the G2. I think this is cheaper than the price I got them at when they were a good deal on Amazon, though they are getting a little long in the tooth now probably. They are good for the money, matte screen, so the color doesn't pop like some of the other units but I am satisfied.

VA panel, meaning better contrast but may not be perfect for fps due to ghosting. Bestbuy website directs to rtings website for its IPS sibling (24G2) so it is not accurate. It is debatable but I will hold onto the ASUS one I got with another recent Bestbuy deal for the same price as it was IPS.
