I have been building my own PC's for 30 years. Having said that, it's really arrogant to assume everyone is comfortable building their own PC. When your new built PC is glitching, boot looping, and giving you blue screen of death, who are you gonna call? Which components are you gonna return? Where is your easy return and Costco warranty?
Can people please stop coming onto these posts and saying how you can build it yourself cheaper. No one gives a crap, all we want to know is if this is a good deal compared to other prebuilts out there.
Yeah, for folks looking the value of this, my numbers are somewhere around there, with my total coming to $875 (excluding OS, and a slightly better CPU). I'd guestimate that you could knock $100 off that total with BF prices for some of these, but that would still save you the effort of SDing every bit, ordering, shipping for some items, and assembling everything (I know some people like me find that part fun, but most folks just want to get going and use the thing)

As has been mentioned, the Costco return policy is very generous

Power Supply $60
Case $60
RAM $ 100
GPU 6600 XT $260
Ryzen 7 5800x w/ cooler $175
SSD $60
Mother board $160
TOTAL $875

If you're not looking to go through the hassle of buying similar specs and doing the mail in rebates, this looks like a good deal to me. Also, it's Costco and their return/warranty is great.

Smoking deal! I might take my sons setup back for this!

Average cost for these items:

Case + PSU = $150
Motherboard + CPU combo = $400
Ram = $100
GPU = $300
NVME 512gb = $60

You are already over $1000. So yes great deal!

Just replied, I think it's great if you're not looking to build it from scratch. If I was him, I'd be pretty happy with it. There's also good opportunity for him to stream his games too.

Yes true....that is roughly an average. My pricing does not including any shipping or taxes. So you are looking closer to $1100. Also time for assembly as well. Should take less than 2 hours for me to build a PC.

If you built an identical custom built machine over this TG02-0137c model, there would perceivably no differences in speed or performance, but you will only get better build quality of the choice of motherboard, PSU, and case materials. Again performance will be the nearly identical to a custom build. Yes you can go with higher OC DDR ram, but you won't notice a huge difference in performance.

Note, this is a 5700G and not a 5800X (which is much better). Still about the same price as what you quoted though, I believe.

I'd personally rather build my own with a quality mobo, a likely MUCH better PSU, and with better timings on the RAM (as the OP is likely 3200MHz, CL18 whereas Infinity Fabric is better suited at 3600MHz and CL16) but if you just want to order and be done then this is decent in what it provides IMO.

Not really a good deal. The case is trash and worthless. Psu is likely bottom barrel. You can get a 5600 and get more performance out of that then a 5700g. Ram speed is important and unknown. You could build something way better at this price point yourself.
Its almost impossible to build a similar PC for $799. Give it a shot on PC part picker. Also keep in mind you need Windows 11. Based on the OP, if he/she is looking to go with a PC without upgrading then this is a great unit that should last them for more than a few years and run current games with no problems. If for some reason they want a 3090ti, etc...then this setup is not for everyone that are looking for a path to upgrade based on the PSU.

I bought a similar setup at the time 6 years ago and it lasted until now with memory & ssd upgrade. I try not pay an over killed one and then still have to do upgrade later, I am smart money man
