If you sign up for best buy credit card, first purchase entitles to 10% cashback so essentially additional 220+ discount. Now note, 16 inch is really bulky and heavy, so be sure about it before purchase. Otherwise Machine is near perfect and best in class in almost all way. 1 TB ssd also makes more sense than 512 gb. This is standard price for this model now, not any special Black Friday deal though.
Have been using this for 2 weeks and don't really find it to be heavy or bulky. Maybe it's because I've been using laptops for 20 years, but I don't really find any difference between 5lbs and 3lbs in a laptop bag. If you're on the fence between this and the 14" I would say stick to the 16".
I bought a "Used - Good" condition 16" 1 TB from Amazon Renewals for about $265 cheaper ($1935). It arrives Tuesday - I'll post an update after a day or so of use.
