Price is a decent bit more than the Slickdeal $99 Home Depot gorilla ladder, but this is also a taller ladder (with significantly more accessories made by Little Giant) while overall identical in build quality. Absolutely worth getting for the extra height. 1/4 turn lock on the extensions, multiposition, and pretty light (44 lbs)

Looks like a 19' ladder (Extension Ladder Maximum Height)? Confirmed in the reviews.

Not sure how long have ladders been marketed like this..

This ladder is extremely wobbly when you use it as an extension ladder, especially when extended to full height. I got scared using it, and bought a proper extension ladder instead. Using it as a step ladder is mostly fine, although the steps are narrower than typical step ladders and might contribute to discomforts during longer usages.

Can this be used as step ladder such that I can climb atleast 8 feet on it above ground to reach 14 feet ceiling fan( I am adding my height and hand reach)
