Google still has not gotten their acts together since taking over Nest.
To view recordings of Nest cameras, use Nest app or Nest web
To view recordings of Google Nest cameras (2nd gen), use Google Home app
Their best cameras Nest IQ are discontinued
All of their cameras are still 1080 (no 2k or 4k)
What is with these companies who don't realize we want to VIEW CAMERAS in web browsers, not some stupid app!!! I was looking at the new nest cams until someone brought up that you can't view them in a browser.
I just switched to wyze cams because amazon cloud cams are being bricked and the cloudcam web viewer was the best version of viewing your cameras on the web that was out there. Wyze has impressed me so far. Blink on the other hand is amazingly terrible. I can't believe anyone actually likes using Blink products. They are inept at being a "security" cam. Maybe if you want to check the level of water in your pool, would a blink cam help out.

The web interface lets you view all Nest camera feeds (original Nest and Google Nest). They are going to let you see legacy Nest events in Google Home sometime next year (you can see live feeds already though). It took them quite a while but seems like they are finally getting their act together.
Nest/google app is average. Cloud service is slow, even with router priority there or over 5G browsing video history for the 24/7 recording seems to crash the app every so often. Like others, wish there are 2k or 4k cameras. 1080 even on sunny days can't even see decent images from front to street ~20ft.
