for some reason personally I dont trust amazon with pokemon cards
Concur with all the tampering comments, it's not a guarantee and a headache to deal with. Better off doing the target deal for same price
I was thinking the same. Almost bought but real risk these are repackaged.

Same thing happened to me before. All the packs were strategically sliced open and you wouldn't really be able to tell unless you looked closely at them...

Same. I got one of the Celebrations Prime Collection boxes, which was destined for my Pokemon fanatic niece. It arrived opened with most of the goodies taken, a bunch of open booster wrappers, and some commons and uncommons cards loose in the box. Returned it and wasn't able to secure a replacement at the time.

I just got an Ultra Premium Collection set from Amazon and the box is still shrink wrapped. Should I be concerned?

Only if you believe these scammer resellers who are trying to scare you. If it's sold by Amazon, there's nothing to worry about. But if it's 3rd party, then maybe you should fear a bit

This is a legit concern. I don't resell. Amazon's track record for selling subpar TCG is worth considering.

This is the reason why there's so many tempered products. People buy take out the good stuff and return. Amazon puts it back in the barrel without assessing the product and the cycle continues.

Not the hardest thing to deal with but if you're buying it as a gift for a kid? Not worth the trouble
