    Was $200 - $40 coupon yesterday. Dropped another $10 today. Checked around earlier today before your post and ended up pulling the trigger (nothing via Eufy or Newegg (though the later had refurbs for even less)). Reviews are solid. Paired it with an upgraded transformer to avoid chime issues. Not compatible with their new security hub v3 yet (and no eta) but that's not needed for this.

    Going by this, it should be January of 2023 for Homebase 3 compatibility.
    FYI, There is a slickdeal for $50 off Homebase 3 atm making it $100 new from Eufy.

    Wired requires a working chime and compatible transformer. You can wire power to some of Eufys newer battery doorbells, just don't expect those wired doorbell features such as "an extra few seconds prior recorded" that the wireless lacks.

    Also, if you have Alexa devices you could use them as a chime.

    If you mean continuous recording, then Eufy isn't what you want. It will record for a certain amount of time but then stop recording for 5 seconds before starting again (if it detects motion).
