Keep in mind this is a 90-day warranty. I paid for this with my Costco Citi Credit card for the 2-year warranty but YMMV. The reason for the YMMV on the warranty is the actual invoice from dell doesn't show it is refurbished. It just shows the part #s like any normal dell order.
Update: To clarify on some things. I can't link directly to the deal. Follow these instructions:

My first monitor came with dead pixels. I didn't open it until after the 30 day return period so they sent out refurbs as replacements. The refurbished units all had problems (dead pixels and scratched to the anti-reflective coating). I assume they're from people returning for the same issues I was but Dell seems to just throw them back into circulation as long as they power on.
They finally sent out a brand new monitor after 3 refurbs but that also had slight scratches to the anti-reflective coating on the top corners. I ended up just dealing with it since it's hard to see them unless viewing dark imagines at certain angles.
For this price it might be worth taking the risk but I wouldn't expect a perfect monitor if they're coming from the same pile as the Dell refurbs they send out for replacements.

I need to buy one to ship overseas where there's no Dell warranty, so 90 days or 3 years is the same to me.
there's no way Dell sells these knowing their calibration is off or a pixel is dead or something like that? I don't understand why they offer these at such low price on the outlet.
Edit.
manually searched for it and found it. all good.
I read that QD OLED is terrible when it comes to text, the LG panel is a little more bearable

Is there a way out of the restocking fee if I get a bad unit? The dell site says "Unless the product is defective or the return is a direct result of a Dell error, a restocking fee of 15% may be charged"
