It is replaceable. Have to open the bottom of the unit in order to replace it. I found at least one video showing how it's done.


I don't think it's "user serviceable" in APC's view, like some of the larger ones. However, after the warranty period (3 years!) it looks rather easy to replace the battery if needed.

I bought my last UPS from this place. Everything had been good. I dont think this model has USB for NAS support. Can anyone confirm?

You might be right, I don't know. I was just reading Amazon reviews and many said newer models (not sure what year) the battery is no longer replaceable. Just want to put it out there for others to be aware of.

I haven't seen that feature on any UPS in this style (taller power strip) but it may exist. Doesn't seem to be on this one, that's for sure.
