This is a great deal if the item is in stock for your zip code. I got in on the Amazon deal for $1999 and it's a great TV. My local Costco has about 4 units left but still at $2499.
The costco CJ model comes with additional Citi Warranty(if using Costco Citi) and All State Warranty and total of 2 years of Bravia Core and 10 movie credits (compare to other 1 year and 5 credits)

Same at my local costco(highland Blvd St.Louis,Mo) 4 units sitting at 2499..I'm gonna try to see if they will match on after thanksgiving

Following up here, went back today and the lone A80CJ was still there. Asked for the GM this time and they gave it to me for $1749 with the extended warranty. Sometimes you just can't take no for an answer!!
My local costco has them at $1999, tried to price match costco online but they refused. Tried to speak with a manager but they didn't budge from $1999. Do you know if costco has any timeline when price drops?
There's no timeline, they are separate from Costco.com and pricing/price drops are independent. Totally up to the GM of the store to give a price cut. In my situation, this was the absolute last unit (besides the display model) and have asked multiple people at this particular Costco if they'd budge on the price over the past week or so. They all went to the department heads and I keep getting the same response, we will not adjust the price from 2499.
I just didn't give up when I went in yesterday and still saw it sitting there. I went directly to the store manager and asked to elevate this up to the highest decision maker (the GM). 10 mins later she came back with a new price tag cut to $1749 + 3 year warranty included. Surprised they gave me anything at all considering the super hard "no" I have been getting the past few weeks when talking to the lower level managers and sales people. Very very happy I was persistent on this and got what I wanted (although I'm a tiny bit irked they still wanted $250 over the online price but I'm not gonna complain!!)
Just be persistent and kind. Oh and bring a super cute baby with you, I think that may have helped a bit this time 😂
