About MSDN or TechNet Product Keys
They are genuine Microsoft product keys, they are actually retail licenses, but it is intended for a particular product channel either the Microsoft Software Developer Network (MSDN) or TechNet for IT Professionals who pay a subscription fee. The main purpose is for evaluation purposes. The great thing about them, unlike trial Microsoft software, MSDN or TechNet keys don't expire. Because the agreement under which the subscription is provided is a single license, none of the software should be distributed outside of it. Even though its $50,000 worth of licenses, it is for one person only to use and no one else.
If you bought an MSDN licensed key, which carries up to 10 activations unlike full packaged retail licenses which only carry 1 activation. The person who sold it to you could probably sell it to 10 other persons. Somewhere along the way, one of those persons might install it on a second system, activate it, because it go past 10 activation threshold, Microsoft can detect it that it is being abused and block the key from further use.

While MSDN keys act like a "Retail" product key they are not for sale or use in a retail environment.
I recently got MS Ofc 2021 thru another source for $40. It said it was a "lifetime" (mine or my PC's?) for 1 PC (my prior 2010 version "expired" even though me & my PC are still alive I could not figure out if this one was OEM or retail even after installed. My current PC's are old and may die or need to be replaced. I am PO'd that if they are not retail I cannot transfer them to a replacement. It is typical MS disdain that they do not even address this issue I am debating whether to get another key to replace a 2016 version as 2021 is the last non pay thru the nose each year subscription approach. How does one tell if a key is OEM or retail?

how do you know that is what is for sale here? just curious.
Another promo from the shaddy NerdUsed global install-code finder. He functions through many marketplace sites (GameSpot, StackSocial, FastKeys, SoftKeyWorld, etc.). His mailbox address is in the U.K. and complaints go through his Telegram account.

Other than the reasons others have given you, the price. It is not possible to buy a legit Office Pro key for anywhere near this. They are $350 minimum even on sale.
Buyer beware, these are not legitimate keys or it can be a stolen key.
I purchased this product from GameSpot, but when I logged into my account trying to add the license key, Microsoft informed me that the key has been associated with a different account.
I have contacted GameSpot, but I haven't heard from them yet.
