How much is SD getting from ZIP Pay to post this garbage for every "deal"?

That guy is trolling. These kind of payment deals pop up every time during special occations like 4th July, BF, Cyber Monday. Last time it was Visa payment, if I remember correctly.

And for Zip Pay, it is just an EMI Option based on your existing payment methods like a Credit and Debit card where the total price will be divided into 4 payments, to be paid within 6 weeks in regular intervals, without any interest.

Is the USB-C port actually Thunderbolt 4 on this or Ryzen version? I couldn't find any references to TB on Newegg OR Acer pages...

Thunderbolt is exclusive to Ryzen as it's an intel technology. On this laptop, the Intel has TB4, the Ryzen has USBC3.2.

Not trolling, just don't care for deals that require payment plans. Interest free or not.

That's fine and you're entitled to your opinion but blaming these as paid post is an alligation to the posters, isn't it? You would be surprised to know that most posters here, including me, don't work for SD and simply post here because they love it. I found out that offer and posted the 1st deal here and after that other posters simply following because ultimately end users are getting a reduced price. You don't like it...fine but lets not blame the posters who are working hard to find these deals as paid posters.

What's wrong if it does save buyer money?

In Intel version, it is TB4 for all 12th gen based Aspire 5. Ryzen version still using the older Zen 3 refres, not Zen 3+ and hence can't support Thinderbolt or USB4.
