It looks like Best Buy is taking an extra $200 off if you are a MyBBY member. This looks to be the lowest price ever on this model. Pretty good price for the spec.

Love the product idea, and I love the brand of Razor, but for 2 grand essentially still, there are better gaming laptops with more space and more ram for the price, it's not a good time for that product with its demanding price range. I'd say it would be worth considering if it were 40% off at the $1,200 range. Honestly you won't find that anywhere though.

I've owned at least 20 high end gaming laptops over the years (I travel extensively) and while I love almost everything about the razer 14" it's an absolute furnace, I've never been been truly worried about heat damaging a system until I got the 14. It's a shame and I don't know if there's a real way to have something this compact and solid feeling with top performance but I've already gone back to competitors. The heat issue alongside reduced power GPUs compared to the other options makes this a tough sell.

3070 Ti in a 14" thin laptop is just asking for pain.

My blade 15 got way too hot to touch on certain games, the biggest issue if that the heat seriously impacts the battery in a dangerous way. My battery expanded to like twice its size and was swelling, and razer warranty was terrible during the Corona times. They would give you so many ref numbers and send u to so many people in emails you could never keep track of a proper warranty claim. Thats been my biggest issue w/ Razer laptops. They really could improve on thermal management, and i think its a serious concern that if companies like Samsung can be held accountable for their exploding phone batteries, I dont see why Razer shouldn't because if you go through reddit forums its an extremely common issue.

For 14" I don't think there is much better unfortunately, this is not aimed to compete with those larger laptops, but aimed for those who want an extremely portable laptop with great specs

You'll find there is no more beautiful and well built laptop at this size for the performance. But you'll also find that your battery will melt in a very short period of time, or explode.

Razer needs to figure out how to make their laptops last and not sell very short term rentals.
The screen on the 14 is also pretty bad compared to the competition.
