It is their budget device and that is a common trend for literally all Companies. Just because it has good hardware configuration does not make it a premium device. You need good display with good configuration, you need to pay more to get higher tier model, like Acer Swift 3.

Love the Thunderbolt. Love the 16GB with full expansion to 64GB. Love the extra SSD bay. Hate the screen. And the Passmark benchmark looks low for a 12th gen i7 (13565), I've seen 12th gen i3 that aren't that far behind it (i3-1215U with 11354).

Not enough for me to pull the trigger on it.

It does look like the identical specs to a Costco Acer Aspire 5:

But Costco has a touchscreen =). Anyone know if the Costco one is a better screen variation than the Newegg? I don't see anyone complaining about the screen in Costco reviews.

I bought the same from Costco, speakers are not that great I returned it back
