    I have an energy monitor on one I installed recently. After a week, it's using .95kwh per day in a 6 person household, so at .25c per kwh it will cost me $87 per year. My wife loves it.

    Avalon is a terrible company. Have dealt with them in the past. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Please google their company on Trustpilot before making a purchase.

    I had something similar (not the same brand) installed at home and it was extremely convenient until I started seeing very high energy consumption and in turn bill. May be newer models have better power management and alternative energy like solar might change major negative point.

    My 2 cents. Get this from Amazon for same price and buy 4yr insurance for an additional $15 to cover for any repair hassles as longevity of this seems questionable based on reviews. Walmart doesn't offer that extended protection with purchase for some reason on this one.

    Valves will go with hard water. Not terrible to replace but the gpm slows noticably with hard water.
