Also for reference the 114 piece GearWrench set was $130 10 days ago.
The Sears Craftsman set is absolutely not worth owning. I own an identical set, and there is just no comparison to the GearWrench drive system.
The archaic design of the tap holders in those other kits make them completely useless unless you are only tapping plastic. The small taps will spin in the holder, or break it using only hand strength. I've done this countless times. Not possible with the GearWrench set.
Worth it's weight in gold. This 77 piece set has all the pieces most people will ever need for automotive use.

Keep in mind this is a Carbon Steel set, not a HSS (high speed steel) set. Carbon steel is great for chasing and cleaning up damaged threads. For cutting new threads it will suffice for a few threads, but be sure to use a good tapping fluid.
