This has 30 hr battery life to the Arctis 7p's 24 hrs. Both likely offer more than advertised though.
Also this uses usb type c cable to charge...vs the 7p which uses micro usb cable to charge.
They use the same drivers and software, and offer the same sound. Both work on ps4, ps5, pc. The 7+ is just a bit more future proof.
Note: if you think you may own an xbox one day, the 7x or 7x+ are the way to go...as they work with both xbox and playstation consoles.. as well as pc.

Wait what? I thought only the pulse 3d keep the chat/game balance button since the lack of optical (I sold it since pulse were to uncomfortable for my big head). This is a must for me since I play FSP games were you can't "pause" a match to adjust party settings. Are you sure you can mix chat/game with this headsets?

Yep yep! Chatmix is mentioned on Steelseriesproduct page [steelseries.com] (via sonar). Only the "7+" kept the chatmix, every other model replaced it with sidetone.
