Thank you, almost pulled the trigger on a way more expensive option. Really excited for this. Anyone have this and wished that they picked a larger unit? I'd mostly just be smoking for myself and maybe 2 others. Also, same deal at walmart.

I don't own any smoker or pellet grill and have been looking for one for almost a month now. Just recently saw this pit boss pro 850 at Lowe's for $549 and tempting to pull the trigger since I also have military discount. A lot of folk I know have traeger and they all loved it.
Should I buy this over the pit boss pro 850? I know that the PB have a larger cooking space. I just want to hear everyone's opinion on this since I am so undecided. thanks all

i think i also saw the traegger 620 at costco for $150 off too. it's about time these came down in prices. it was inevitable as they were way overpriced for the quality.

Is there any advantage to the 575 over the 780? Seems like the 780 is the clear winner unless you're space-constrained.
