You are comparing wrong models. You are looking at DualBrew (model CFP201).
This is the DualBrew PRO (model CFP301) which is $229 on Target - https://www.target.com/p/ninja-du...A-82637383

That's the best price I've seen for the Dual Pro. I just purchased it Black Friday week for $20 more. ๐Ÿ˜•

Heads up these are trash - bought one on Black Friday a couple years ago, key is that all bowl components are molded plastic. They work well for awhile, then snap off at connection points due to motor torque. I should've spent the money on a vitamix

no need to compare.

good value for a good product vs a high price for a higher-end product.

It was between the 1400 at target or 1600 at Costco for me. I still haven't decided. I saw the $189 vitamix and wanted it, but I've done only ninja now for like 5yrs and have 6 ss blender cups which made me hesitate.

Ninja has the power to blend, but their motors last about a year. I use the warranty, pay the $50 scam fee, and get a new base annually. It was working for me bc my first ninja was some dirt cheap target clearance.

If you can afford vitamix and aren't attached to the ninja smoothie jars, I'd go that route for sure.

Piping in with my 2ยข...

I really DO like my ninja blender... has been going strong for years now with regular use... so no complaints about the blender itself.

What really frustrates me is the lack of replacement parts. Part of the pitcher lid broke about 6 months of use, but I've had to put up with it since used ebay parts are the only "replacement" options available. As opposed to Vitamix, Ninja focuses exclusively on selling the initial product and essentially forces another blender purchase if anything goes wrong. Seems shady for a higher-end priced product such as this.

FWIW
