    I'll throw you a bone to make you feel better, this cannot charge the AA battery. It can only charge it's 18650 battery. Also it's 18650 is not really standard. The standard 18650 doesn't have a nipple like AA battery, the standard is a bit flat and have a overheat protection inside that would permanently disconnect when it's overheat. Have to stick a pin in to reset the overheat protection. Peace

    Oh, another thing I found out is the lantern light attract bugs like crazy.

    Interesting it doesn't mention if it include the 18650. Free return, so you can check and return if it doesn't have it.

    Yes one 18650 included. Also runs on 3 AA not included. Shown in 1st photo of the reviews.

    I bought these in Sept. They came with a small 18650.
    "+ HDY18650 1500mAh 3.7V 5.55Wh 202110 -"

    Exactly the same as the review Taddy_Mason mentioned, just a different production date.

    It's not a huge capacity 18650, but it's enough to run these lanterns during a power outage.

    These are not super bright. They are "good enough" in a bind though.
