I have been recently getting ring finger pain on my right hand with myx master 2. Does this mouse alleviate that?

I'm gonna guess not, but depends on your grip. Is the ring finger resting on the right button or on the side of the mouse? Maybe less strain particularly for the latter since you're not moving a mouse around the table anymore. But thumb pain down the line could also be a concern.

I want to try a finger trackball eventually but I think this is a good first baby step. I just got one at work and enjoying it much more than I expected so I'm getting one to use at home too.

I've been using this model (well the ergo plus model with the extra base\tilt) for a few years and really like it. It has definitely helped with the wrist pain I was beginning to feel using a traditional mouse.

I would certainly encourage others who use a mouse a lot and experience wrist or hand pains from it to experiment with a vertical mouse or trackball device.

I love this thing, I've had the plus since 2019. My only complaint would be the battery life warning doesn't ever seem to work so it just suddenly dies, but it immediately works again with a microusb plugged in to charge. One charge is good for a couple months at least and I use this full time at work. I will say trackball takes some getting used to and some may find a vertical (like the MX vertical or any number of competitors, the Anker for around 20 bucks on sale is a good way to dip your toes in, the original had sudden failure of buttons but I think they revised the design) easier to use. If it was me I'd look for a deal on the plus for the second base plate, or if you have a 3d printer I'm sure you could design or find an extra riser. With the extra base it's basically a vertical trackball so your hand rests like a vertical mouse without having to move your arm around. I've had issues from excessive mouse use for a long time and this thing finally keeps me from going home with wrist pain. I've been working on a computer full time plus recreational use for over 20 years so I'm sure I have some degree of repetitive stress etc. FWIW, this price isn't earth shattering as it's 86 on Amazon right now and available as low as 80 from other sellers, and I think has been cheaper there (I paid like 65 on Quill back in 2019 but that was a rare deal at the time).

Yes. Mine is gone. Other flat or vertical mouse did not work. Difficult use at first.

I prefer the m570/m575, I have small hands and the MX felt too big to me. You used to be able to get the M570 for $30 or less. Looks like discontinued the 570 and replaced it with the 575 but they've jacked the price up a lot. Amazon has the M575 for $48 right now.

It's resting on the side or doesn't have support at all middle finger rests on the right button so.
