It's amazing that no one has produced the perfect model yet. People might pay $50-$100 for one that would be more perfect and long-lasting. Instead, we endlessly keep buying these $10 models that go on sale repeatedly. The photos, capabilities and descriptions always sound so promising for these cheaply-made mass-produced little bathroom toys.

The above said, I noticed this Conair has an intriguing patented design. Your comment at least suggest that the design is effective (esp since you also owned a Panasonic to compare this with). Reps for you and the OP.
It's amazing that no one has produced the perfect model yet. People might pay $50-$100 for one that would be more perfect and long-lasting. Instead, we endlessly keep buying these $10 models that go on sale repeatedly. The photos, capabilities and descriptions always sound so promising for these cheaply-made mass-produced little bathroom toys.
Just wanted to add, I've had a few Panasonics over the years and their speeds would always fluctuate while using them, even on a new battery. With the Conair, it always runs at a much higher rpm. Also, the head cuts much closer due do the design of it. I have two of these, one for home and one for work. One is a few years old now and still going strong. I think I've only replaced the battery in it once.
