LG makes the best washers available in the western hemisphere. Samsung is junk
For those who don't understand, a Whirlpool could break in its 2nd year and there would be many authorized repair shops who can easily obtain OEM parts and pieces. This leads to quick availability and competitive pricing. Not the same for a Samsung/LG, which leads to a swarm of people being angry that they had to wait a long time AND pay a bigger price.
SO, while LG may make beautiful products, they're in the same camp as Samsung regarding repair hell and should only be used if there's a STRONG warranty in place
I currently have a Samsung washer and dryer that Home Depot gave a 7 year warranty on when I bought which was quite strong. Didn't need to use it once, and nearly a decade later only had a $5 replacement part that was needed (agitator)
I inherited a Samsung fridge and learned the hard way about what I just typed and hundreds of dollars later replaced with a Whirlpool just for the piece of mind knowing I could replace parts with ease down the road...
