I recently got the LG 49in ultrawide and have been looking for a mount to free-float it. Came across Monoprice Heavy-Duty Single-Monitor. Reviews are good, and it's far less than other offers Amazon[amazon.com], Walmart[walmart.com], Target,[target.com]and Newegg[newegg.com] have it at the original price or more, while Monoprice has 25% off plus free shipping.

A little confused they would say that when the G9 supports a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount and the arm in question supports that. The G9 is also around 31lbs without the stand, so... how confusing.
I wish they got more reviews, bought the G9 recently but only 1 review and didn't want to take a gamble on it. I decided on the WALI if anyone is interested.
I so want to fit my Samsung G9 49", but that huge and heavy beast makes me too nervous. I'm usually already a wreck and get uneasy when I see these single arm mounts for any monitor.
looks like amazon has it for the same price. i may buy it from amazon because of the ease of returns if it doesn't work out. i want to use this on the 43" TCL TV from Target for $150 on BF. i'm using it as a 4K monitor. having an arm will give me more space on my desk. i believe the TV is 16lbs and this arm supports up to 39lbs. thanks for this. i hope it works out.
Gonna try this out on my G9. I've been having part of it hang off my desk since the legs are so huge & I refuse to spend hundreds of dollars on a stand, hopefully it holds it up well.

Ordered earlier this week, so it arrived today after some delays. I hooked it up to my Samsuck G9, and it's holding steady. The tilt gave me a little bit of hesitation, but I'm over it now: I think it'll hold.
The installation was a female dog, though. Did it solo, and I definitely recommend having someone help you out. Adjusting and tightening the tilt was the female doggest of all the steps. Protip: have it tilt upward a lot more than you think, because there's a lot of sag points throughout the whole mechanism.
Don't be alarmed if after you mount the monitor it sinks or rises. You can tighten or loosen the spring tension at the base of the moving part of the arm. It's in the instructions manual.
Open to questions.
Oh, also, when I ordered, it was ~85 dollars after applying a coupon to its $100 sale price. I called Monoprix, and they were kind enough to lower the price after the fact.

Nice and thanks for the detail. I'm still waiting on mine but now I feel at ease with what you said. Time to put my wife to work lol.

As noted, this was $70 on Amazon just a couple weeks ago. Hopefully it'll drop again, but it's only a $5 difference.

It's weird Monoprice is saying the opposite
