Nice specs. 16:10 is nice, 6850 is also nice. But a600-700 more than a g15 strix even after adding another 16gb ram and 512gb of ssd. The 6800m isn't gonna be that far behind either. Legion build quality will be better tho.

What do you mean by legislative?
Also any thoughts on the 6800H CPU?
It is not the top of the line legion 7 AMD gen 7 AMD CPU that they offer.

Bad typing by me. Meant legion. 6800h and above should be better in battery life than 12700h, if that matters to you. I think this is a bit pricey personally and would rather go with the $1099 g15 strix or legion 5 that had 5800h and 3070 for 1099. It all just depends on your needs. And specific workloads. That will determine what is best for you.

Intel will be overall better raw performance while plugged in. And better on battery.

Thanks! Battery life and performance is important to me. I don't want to sacrifice a lot of battery life for performance though. I'm a programmer and will want to use Unity with it (3D game programming). I believe other programming won't suffer much on AMD chip but I'm wondering how much weaker it will be otherwise. I don't plan to game too much on it.
