My Carlinkit 4.0 experience has been awful. Constant disconnections and lag, and sometimes Hardware Error: WIFI BT. Went back to just using my cable

Tried Moto M1. Two of them, neither worked. Got an AAwireless. So far so good, much better experience.

Moto M1 works great in my 2022 Kia K5. It's more money than this but it works almost perfectly. Only issue is the few minutes it takes to connect when first starting the car. Not a big deal but I have to manually switch to media in my infotainment system "First World Problems"

I got mine from Amazon last month and so far so good. It's disconnected twice for about 30 seconds each time, which was annoying but not the end of the world.

I have 2 of these. 1 for my wife on her Apple Carplay and 1 for me on Android Auto. The Carplay works well and is quick to connect and seemless. For Android auto it is slow, glitchy and 9/10 times does not connect automatically. It might be a different model than this one, but is the same brand.

I use the Motorola MA1 it works great. Maybe give that a try I would be interested to hear your review of that.

I generally plug in my phone for those reasons but then you're limited to whatever the built-in charging capability is. Using a device like this you could plug your phone into a faster charger while still maintaining Android Auto/Carplay capability.
