Do I understand correctly that you need a phone or source that also has Snapdragon sound codec to be able to transmit lossless (CD-quality) sound to these buds? If so, which phones besides ASUS ROG phones have this? Last I checked, ASUS ROG phones weren't available for Verizon, and that's kind of a dealbreaker for me because I don't want to change my provider.
I'd also be curious to learn if these buds are glorified Ankers with a lossless codec, or if they indeed can achieve what other audiophile-grade wired buds can. Anyone able to test these and confirm sustained lossless transmission over bluetooth (e.g. I believe Lossless is a function of AptX Adaptive, and it may automatically downsample to lower bitrates depending on signal conditions)--I could be wrong though. If so, what is the battery life of the buds when transmitting an uninterrupted Lossless signal ?
This is one of the first buds on the market claiming CD-quality lossless audio over bluetooth; I wonder what their return policy is for these buds, especially in light of OgreDave's comment about delivery issues.
WellBots return policy is a little unclear:
Items are eligible for a return for up to 30 days after the order delivery date. Returned items must be factory sealed. For open boxes and orders in transit, we may be unable to accept the return (or a restocking fee of up to 15% may apply).
So kinda hard to try these out and return them if they are underwhelming. At the very least, you'd be out $38, and likely be responsible for paying shipping for at least one way. Worst case, is that they don't accept a return at all.

I've read a few reviews of this and other Nura headphones, and it does seem like they're the real deal.
Still, it depends entirely on how much free cash flow you have to determine if they're worth buying.

Great point. Some people have $254 to spend without regard to an unclear return policy. That's not me.
Even if NuraTrue Pro had been reviewed by audiosciencereview or rtings, I'd still want a return policy just in case.
Still, good to see a company out there pushing the boundaries. I remain curious to hear more about how successful (or not) the lossless Bluetooth is implemented.

I have serious doubts Wellbots can circumvent the customs / delivery issues they're having.

Typically with a Kickstarter device, customers paying after the product dare release get priority. Typically.
