For new players, I highly recommend joining the official discord. They're mostly nice people there and dead teammates that can communicate back are a huge advantage.
That being said, biggest pointers for the game are sound queues. Understanding other people's and not hitting them yourself to be specific. (Crows, ducks, dogs, etc.)
also note that all in game voice chat is proximity based, not team based. Somebody mentioned the discord and I'd second that.
also this game only has trios and duos for the classic mode. there is a single player quick play but the mechanics are less about a raid boss and feel more of a race to the "king of the hill".
this is a hard game. this is the best game. this is the only game.
