I disagree. I have the full size version of this and it's significantly better, faster and more consistent for iron ons and much better transfer. At this price it's a nobrainer

Can anyone with experience vouch? I picked up a cricut joy during a Costco clearance with the intention of making iron on logos for a small golf tournament I created with friends. Not sure if this expense would be worth the improved experience

The full size version is a completely different tool lol. Trying to compare that to a regular iron, or this mini, it's obviously superior for the job.

agree with the disagree. the difference between this thing and an iron is steam. steam is not your friend when it comes to the transfer. pains me as much to agree because all these different "tools" unless you plan to craft often are just a collection of items in the closet.

If you're doing bigger/big project I agree full size version is perfect but for small projects you don't need this - home iron is enough
