Kiwi is selling this Head Strap for Meta/Oculus Quest 2 with the 6400 mAh battery, for $69.99. Normally $99.99, and the Proprietary Meta/Quest Elite Strap is $119. I've read that many people prefer the Kiwi head strap over the Meta/Quest version.

The bobovr is called a halo strap because it sits on your forehead like a halo, putting weight on your forehead instead. These straps put weight on your face. Some ppl find halo straps more comfortable. I have this and the bobovr and prefer the bobovr.

Here's my video review.

I have the non-battery version. I can't imagine really playing more than a couple hours straight myself, but if you do, sure, $30 for a USB battery pack is a pretty good price. You can also use any USB battery pack you may already have though. Put it in your back pocket, or use a Velcro arm band like runners use. Loop the USB cable around the headset strap to hold in place and plug it in.
I've had it for a few weeks now, highly recommend. Leagues better than the stock strap, although that isn't saying much

I've only been using my quest 2 for a few days and I can already tell a new head strap is needed. Is this worth the $30 over the non-battery version?

This is nice but I prefer the bobovr M2 plus halo styled strap. It has interchangable batteries. If you have 2 batteries you can technically play forever.

I noticed the different strap design by the forehead. I wonder how that would feel compared to the kiwi. Or why one would be preferable to the other design.

I have the non-battery version and I can highly recommend it. I added a battery with some Velcro tape, but yeah if you think you'll play enough to need the battery yes it's worth it. Also the battery should act as a counterweight making it feel more balanced on your head.

Have both. Halo is, by far, more comfortable.

I love my Quest but havent played it in forever because i get bad neck pain even with the Elite strap. Does this thing help with that? Would love to start playing the quest again.

Beware of bobovr. My battery permanently died after only a handful of uses. And it's not that uncommon based on the Amazon reviews.

The Kiwi battery strap is the only "premium" strap I've used, but one of the things I like about it is that the weight of the battery on the back of your head helps to balance the weight of the headset on the front. I haven't gotten any neck pain with my play sessions I've done.
