    Good deal for what I consider WORM drives (write once read many), ie their write speed is very low esp random writes but their read speeds are good and thus the drives are good for read-mostly situations like OS install drives. They're also good for throw-away drives where you need to share data and don't need the drive back.

    I bought these. For reads they get 90 MB/s. For writes they sustain 12-14MB/s forever, which is higher than I was expecting - most drives in this price class drop down to near 0 MB/s for intermittent periods under sustained workloads. Based on these results this was the best deal on ultra-low priced flash drives I've seen.
