    Can anyone comment on how good this is as a synthesizer or workstation? Versus say for instance a Roland Juno or JD-XI?

    I don't know about those, but this is basically a better version of the PX-5S with speakers and a touch screen. I loved this line of Casio and wish they didn't abandon these keys / actions.

    Juno is Juno, it's a nostalgia play on part of roland.

    If you only wanted the juno sounds, the vst is just as good. There's a new E50 from roland coming out, many people are excited for that, has vocoder.

    No the key action is what they've abandoned. You can't get it unless you buy a full sized upright digital piano in the Casio line.
