Selecting the touchscreen version comes to $647 before tax. You get a 300 nit screen instead of the 250 nit screen. I don't know what it does to the weight though.

Wish it was 16:10.

This price? This is a Latitude, not an Inspiron or Vostro. Price is excellent considering the build quality.

THis is not the vaunted latitude 7xxx it's just the 5xxx, keep that in mind.

Oh boy, EXACTLY what I was looking for! A lightweight 13.3" laptop to replace my Asus Zenbook! Price came out to $647.10 because I added the touchscreen. I'm still a newbie to the extra cashbacks, etc., so I wonder if I'll ever see the 12% SD cashback rewards which I hopefully did correctly, plus my Amex Platinum had a 20% cashback Reward, and finally, there was a 3% Dell cashback on future purchases which came out to $19 (really not sure about this one...at first there was an error msg saying I can't get it, but then it showed up on the last page of the purchase). Anyway, because of my specific ergonomic wishes, I was only looking at a few models, and this came out of nowhere. I almost passed it by because of the understated description.

I would say this is a pretty good deal for a thin and light laptop, I just recently received a 14" ThinkPad X1 Carbon and am very happy with the build quality and from what I can see this is somewhat the Dell equivalent. I did pay more than 2x this price but got 32GB ram, a 500GB drive, 16:10 resolution plus a 3 year premier warranty. If you travel, your back will thank you for carrying a < 3 pound laptop!
