Last week when this was on sale for $35 I ordered one for pickup, and the morning after the sale ended I received a notification that my order had been canceled because the store I ordered / was to pick it up from didn't really have any in stock after all. Hopefully I'll have better luck this time.
I chatted with Best Buy since I I had a gift card and they matched the price. Hope this one last longer than my last one, M570 Model lasted about a year before the left button developed the ghost clicking. It would either double click or not click at all.

I keep seeing this issue mentioned. Haven't had this problem yet but the first one I used 5 years got to where the ball just didn't rotate smoothly anymore. Cleaning didn't help, I assume it was wear on those little white plastic ball-glides.

Yeah, the pin switches went out on those older trackballs really fast. There's all sorts of videos on how to repair them by soldering in new and more durable switches. I actually bought the switches and was going to do this myself but then I bought a M575 and have had it over 2 years and haven't had any problems, so I forgot about where I put the inop 570 and the switches. Plus I moved since then and still haven't gone through all the boxes yet, so I still may run across them in the future.

Mine has been doing that same thing for the past month, it can get annoying when you close something and behind it you have windows explorer open and it clicks on something else.
