    i think 3.1 to 4.2a is standard on these sub $15 products... if you go over $25, then you start seeing PD, QC 3.0, etc

    Charging is fine for my needs, overnight charging of an Android phone or two and a Kindle. A trickle charge causes slightly less wear on the battery. For overnight charging QC is not needed or desirable.
