I got this for $1100 or so during an obvious mistake on Amazon's part in December. I ended up flipping it as the fan is whinny and the build quality is really poor. The power is undeniable, but even after adjusting the fan settings it's too much stuff in too small a box.

I have the 12700h, rtx3060 (130watt) model.

Both intel and nvdia chips constanty thermal throttles.

Wish they set tge power usage lower on both gpu and cpu. Better than throtthling.

Probably not. Mine is really well ventilated. Dell's G15's pro is that it's cheap.

But Legion 5 pro/7 is a better laptop in every way.
Similar specs, better cooling, can charge via usb-C (when you dont' want to carry heavy charger, this is huge), extra m2 slot. (2022 G15 only has 1 x m2 slot)

I am happy with mine since I got it $400 cheaper than similar spec legion 7 at the time. I don't game though, I use the laptop as a desktop replacement hooked up to dual monitor with sometimes trying machine learning stuff which requires nvdia gpu.
