Just got quicken business. It's a mess of stuff left over from the 90s and crap that overly technical and also not useful to a layperson. wave is a web based app that is free and does everything business quicken does. It's full featured on mobile where quicken you have to sit in front of a computer to do many things.
handy, I recently found myself having to renew quicken and everything was selling full price it was terrible. gonna keep this on the bookshelf until I need it.

Office Depot and Staples have had it on sale also. Think about getting it at Office Depot and it will qualify you to recycle or use your recycling rewards to purchase it. You can aslo add to a current subscription after 6 months and it will extend it for 12 months.
Is this an unusual price these days? IIRC in years past it's been hard to get a sub renewal for much less than this.
In April 2022, I bought a Quicken Deluxe renewal subscription from newegg for $26.99 using a $5 off promo code, (sale price was $31.19, regular price was $51.19).

Thanks for the Wave recommendation. I may test it out. I have been a Quicken user for over a decade and am currently on the 2016 business version and have been unable to update for a few years. I am "old school" and do not leverage the online banking features of Quicken today. The question I need to ask myself with this solution is am I ok with all of my data being in the cloud which I currently do not do and have major reservations about. Contrary to many companies claims of having a high security system, data breaches continue to happen. With this said, I have also been concerned about how much longer my Quicken version will work. If you are an offline user than it's just uploading numbers. It never has your actual banking info cause a transaction

It's normally $60 so $36 is a good price for Deluxe.
