    I got one of these from the last deal but it had a night light (can be turned off if you don't want it)

    It's actually pretty cool. It's got a haptic feedback type of night light where it turns the brightness on at different levels with the different dim levels of darkness.. lol if that made any sense.

    Basically if I put my hand SHADOW over the sensor, the light turns on at about 10/25/ or 50% brightness or whatever. But if I put my hand completely covering the sensor then it turns 100% on as if it was pitch dark.

    Only time will tell how long this thing lasts though lol.. hopefully a billion years.

    New outlets have the screw holes on the top and bottom. I'm sure this was done to make cover plates universal for both light switches and outlets. There's no more hole in the middle.

    I see there are still old style outlets but that's not what I have.
